Secure transmission

Data sent to AirTap is transmitted through secure connections.

Limited data

We store only the information needed to operate the app, prevent abuse, and manage access.

User control

Users can request review or deletion of their data by contacting support.

Information we may collect

AirTap may collect information necessary to create an account, operate the app, process subscriptions, provide support, measure product performance, and prevent abuse.

  • Account information: name, email address, user identifiers, and authentication-related data.
  • Usage data: app events, interactions, subscription status, technical errors, device information, and performance metrics.
  • Payment data: payments are processed through Google Play. AirTap may receive purchase identifiers, subscription status, and data needed to activate or restore access.
  • Accessibility Program data: full name, country, credential or certificate number, credential image, and verification metadata.

Accessibility Program

AirTap offers an Accessibility Program for users who have a disability that makes it difficult to use a phone with their hands. Eligible users may request free access to AirTap Plus.

To review eligibility, AirTap may ask for full name, country, credential or certificate number, and an image of a disability credential, disability card, or disability certificate.

AirTap uses AI-assisted verification to check whether the submitted image appears to be a disability-related credential or certificate, and whether the submitted information matches the document.

The credential image is transmitted securely for validation and is used only to process the Accessibility Program request. AirTap does not store the uploaded credential image.

How we use and retain data

Data use

We use data to operate AirTap, provide hands-free control features, manage accounts and subscriptions, prevent fraud or abuse, process accessibility requests, improve stability, and provide support.

Verification metadata

To prevent abuse and manage free access, AirTap may store encrypted or hashed identifiers, country, application status, validation score, validation flags, decision reason, timestamps, and entitlement status.

Service providers

AirTap may use third-party providers for authentication, infrastructure, analytics, payments, support, and AI-assisted verification. These providers process data to deliver AirTap services.

Deletion and contact

You may request review or deletion of your Accessibility Program data by contacting AirTap. Limited retention may be necessary for security, abuse prevention, compliance, or operational records.
